Mahabhunakasha: how to see your gut map online
Updated · Mahasuchi
Mahabhunakasha is the Maharashtra government’s online cadastral map (Bhu Naksha). You can view your gut or survey plot on the village map for free. It does not give side lengths in a ready drawing, a satellite overlay, or an AutoCAD file — for that you need a plot map service.
How to view your plot on Mahabhunakasha
- 1Open mahabhunakasha.mahabhumi.gov.in.
- 2Choose the state (Maharashtra) and category: Rural or Urban.
- 3Select district, taluka and village. The village map loads.
- 4Use “Search by plot number” and enter your gut / survey number. The plot is highlighted.
- 5Click the plot to see the plot info and use “Map report” to print it.
What Mahabhunakasha does not give you
- A clean drawing with every side length labelled
- Your plot on satellite imagery to see roads, structures and access
- Neighbouring plots with their numbers and side lengths in one sheet
- A DXF / AutoCAD file your architect or surveyor can use
Get a gut map with measurements
Mahasuchi creates a plot map with side lengths on satellite imagery, an adjacent plots map with all touching gut numbers, and an NOC sheet with a true-dimension AutoCAD DXF — from just the village and gut number.
Important
Cadastral maps are reference maps. For legal demarcation (हद्द कायम) apply for government measurement through e-Mojani. Use the online map to check and plan before that.
